New Investment Comes as Company Passes the Mark of 200 Customers
PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Intalio, Inc., The Open Source BPMS Company, today announced the closing of a new round of funding led by Partech International. Vincent Worms, co-founder and managing partner at Partech International, will join the Intalio Board of Directors.
"We were most impressed with the traction of Intalio's open-source suite in the marketplace," said Vincent Worms. "Intalio delivers a high-quality yet affordable product to a market that has been constrained in the past by prohibitively high upfront costs. We believe the company's low friction sales model will help propel Intalio to lead the next generation of BPM solutions, as well as expand the market for BPM software overall."
"Intalio went from 12 customers to over 200 in the past 18 months," said Ismael Ghalimi, co-founder and CEO at Intalio. "On a daily basis, over 50 new organizations start using Intalio for BPM projects, and this trend should only accelerate when we release Intalio 5.0 later this month. Partech's investment comes at a perfect time for us to capture the fantastic opportunity that standards-based BPM, also referred to as BPM 2.0, is becoming today."
Intalio's existing investors, including 3i, Cargill Ventures, Sippl MacDonald Ventures, Woodside Fund, and XML Fund, all participated in the new round. Intalio will target the funds on its next phase of growth, extending its network of over 75 reselling partners located in 26 countries, and deploying a global telesales organization with offices in North America, Europe, and Asia.
