Brady Corporation Introduces the IP™ Series Printer System
Business Wire, Sept 24, 2007
MILWAUKEE -- Brady Corporation (NYSE:BRC), a leader in high-performance marking and wire identification, has launched a new thermal-transfer industrial printer that utilizes smart cell technology. The Brady IP[TM] Series Printer System is the first printer of its kind that lets the printer, material, ribbon and software communicate together.
Bi-directional smart cell technology combined with Brady's Bradysoft[TM] or Labelmark[TM] software enables the printer to automatically recognize the correct material and ribbon combination, adjust material parameters, print speed and heat settings, and determine material usage levels to allow the user to simply load the material, click the software interface, and easily print a variety of labels, tags, and sleeves. The innovative Brady IP[TM] Series Printer System offers a variety of capabilities and benefits including reduced set-up time, less waste and optimal print integrity for improved productivity and faster on-demand, just-in-time printing.
"Every feature of the Brady IP[TM] Series Printers System was designed with the end-user in mind and will revolutionize how our customers print by eliminating many of their printing pain points. Installing the system takes a quarter of the time as other thermal transfer industrial printers. It also takes up substantially less space, saves time, and most importantly, drives bottom-line improvements by reducing time and material waste," said Brady Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Robert Tatterson.
