Interpolls Launches Industry's First Rich Media Widget Ad Serving Platform
Business Wire, Sept 24, 2007
Powerful Tool Provides Marketers New Ways to Distribute Widgets and Reach the 81 Million Consumers Who Visit Widget-Enabled Sites
PASADENA, Calif. -- Interpolls, a leading rich media technology company, announced today it is launching Interpolls Rich Media Widgets this month. This development represents the first time a third-party ad serving platform will offer in-house widget solutions that can be integrated within rich media ad units and embedded within various social-networking sites. As with every Interpolls rich media solution, Interpolls Rich Media Widgets will conform to all portal and publisher ad specifications and policies.
Leading marketers, agencies, portals and publishers are now able to offer their target audiences relevant sponsored Web widget features to include in their personal or social networking pages using the Interpolls rich media ad serving platform. According to an April comScore report, more than 81 million North Americans currently visit widget-enabled sites each month. comScore expects this number to grow rapidly as more and more sites across the Internet employ Web widget technology.
Interpolls' offering, now in beta testing, provides new variations of relevant user widget features that enhance a consumer's page and experience, while incorporating the marketer's campaign goals and objectives. Interpolls also will include widget reporting metrics within its rich media ad reporting, providing publishers, agencies, and clients a single source solution from creation, serving, tracking, and reporting.
"Over the past eight years, Interpolls has developed a thorough understanding of the needs of marketers, publishers and their target audiences," said Peter Kim, CEO and president of Interpolls. "We now plan to apply this knowledge in an unprecedented way, engaging users with various types of personalized widget features through our rich media ad platform. We remain dedicated to providing the best end-user experience in the industry, along with highly measurable results for marketers, agencies and Web publishers."
Current social networking sites and publisher partners testing Interpolls Rich Media Widgets will soon be announced, as several leading brands prepare to launch new marketing campaigns this fall incorporating the new technology.
"Interpolls has done a tremendous job assisting Optimedia in our support of T-Mobile, a very important client to our agency over the last several years," said Adam Seymour, Vice President Strategic Communications, Optimedia. "We rely on Interpolls' tremendous customer service, unrivaled technology and commitment to continuous innovation to help set clients like T-Mobile apart from the competition. We plan to be among the first organizations to put Interpolls Rich Media Widgets to use, and we are confident the new technology will deliver more of the same outstanding results we've come to expect from our strategic business partner."
