Business.com Named to Los Angeles Business Journal's List of Best Places to Work
Business Wire, Sept 25, 2007
Recently acquired by R.H. Donnelley Corporation, Business.com ranks third among midsized companies
SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Business.com, the leading business search engine, directory and pay-per-click advertising network, today announced that it has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal's inaugural list of Best Places to Work in Los Angeles.
The rankings were determined by evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, demographics, and the results of an anonymous employee survey to measure the employee experience. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process with assistance from ModernThink LLC, who analyzed the data to determine the final rankings.
"It's a great honor to be recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the best places to work in the Los Angeles area," said Jake Winebaum, founder of Business.com and president of R.H. Donnelley Interactive, R.H. Donnelley's online division.
"We compete with other top Internet companies to recruit and retain employees and have worked hard to build a culture and work environment where every employee knows that they make a difference and will be recognized for their contribution. This combination of clear goals, personal responsibility and rewarding achievement, mixed with great co-workers and a healthy dose of fun, is our winning recipe."
Business.com is located in a recently redesigned office in Santa Monica and offers competitive salaries, great benefits, a dynamic, innovative company culture and opportunities for both entry-level and experienced staff in Internet engineering, sales, product development and marketing. Current Business.com job opportunities can be found at http://www.business.com/jobs/.
