Business Wire, Sept 25, 2007
BIRMINGHAM, England -- A24 Outsource Group is announcing its new portfolio of services for the outsourcing and off-shoring of business functions specifically from the UK to South Africa, at Call Centre Expo, Birmingham NEC, UK. A division of Ambition 24hours, it is one of the UK's most successful private companies, one of the Fast Track 100 'Fastest Growing UK Companies' 2002 to 2004.
A24 Outsource Group - which includes the specialist QA Calling call centre operation - has off-shored complex business processes since 2004, such as high-level search and selection recruitment as well as bespoke software development and accounting. The company has invested in excess of R100million ZAR (GBP 6.9 million) in South Africa, confirming its confidence in the country's future as a business environment, according to managing director Penny Streeter.
"South African staff are culturally aligned with the European market and are renowned for being hard-working, well-educated and friendly. It is the perfect combination for European businesses looking for off-shore solutions for a variety of business processes and functions," says Penny Streeter.
Penny Streeter OBE is one of the UK's leading businesswomen, a former CBI Entrepreneur of the Year (2003). Three years ago she invested in A24 Outsource Group's 130,000 sq ft freehold premises in Cape Town, South Africa - now an international operational centre equipped with leading edge IT, and staffed with telephony and technology development teams.
"I wanted to achieve faster growth and more efficient service through continual improvements in business processes: this is now a capability that we can offer to enterprises wanting the benefits of off-shoring but without the capital investment, risk or lead times. Our business offering is unique in the call centre marketplace: we can manage sales and staffing operations highly efficiently, and also have a full understanding of the challenges faced by companies in seeking to reduce costs and simultaneously improve quality of service to their end-users," Penny Streeter says.
