Alogent Welcomes Check 21 Users to Atlanta Conference
Business Wire, Sept 25, 2007
ATLANTA -- Alogent Corp., a leading provider of enterprise deposit automation technologies for global financial institutions and processors, today announced the company's third annual user conference in Atlanta on Sept. 25 - 27. The company's 2007 User Forum joins together customers, partners and industry experts to discuss the state of the industry in remote deposit and branch capture, as well as the evolution of Check 21 and image exchange. The event also provides a vehicle for gathering customer input and feedback to be incorporated into Alogent's product roadmap and future strategy.
"Our industry leadership has been fortified by Alogent's ability to predict future needs for financial institutions, and to respond quickly with product development initiatives," said Paul Citarella, executive vice president at Alogent Corp. "Learning about our customers' strategies and operational challenges first hand, in an open forum, provides immeasurable benefit for our own strategic planning. This in turn enhances the appeal of our solutions to the entire banking industry as it continues to evolve to paperless processing."
The three-day annual conference will focus on remote deposit automation and branch deposit automation, two specific market segments in which Alogent's leadership position continues to expand. An executive discussion on banking trends and challenges will be presented by Ron Baldwin, former vice chairman of Huntington Bank. Industry expert speakers include Bob Meara, industry analyst at Celent and John Leekley of Remotedepositcapture.com
"Adoption of distributed image capture solutions by financial institutions has been astonishing," said Bob Meara, industry analyst at Celent. "Remote deposit capture adoption rates have eclipsed even that of online banking solutions in the 1990s. By year end 2008, nearly three quarters of all US financial institutions will employ one or more distributed capture systems."
