Bitstream Expands International Sales Team, Adds Director of European Business Development

BOSTON -- Bitstream Inc. (NASDAQ: BITS, www.bitstream.com), a software development company whose core products include award-winning fonts and font rendering software, mobile browsing and messaging software, variable data publishing, and Web-to-print software for personalized marketing, announced today the addition of Olaf Heggli as Director of European Business Development. Olaf will be responsible for growing European sales and partnerships for all of Bitstream's product lines.

Mr. Heggli is based in Sweden and will be representing all Bitstream products, including the Pageflex and ThunderHawk product lines, throughout Europe. He has an extensive sales and business development background, and most recently served as Director of International Sales at Flexmedia AS, Sales Director of Creacom, and Vice President of Sales for DESC AS. Mr Heggli was also the founder and CEO of Pinnacle Graphics AS.
