Aberdeen Appoints Head of US Mutual Funds

PHILADELPHIA -- Aberdeen Asset Management Inc ("AAMI"), the wholly-owned US subsidiary of Aberdeen Asset Management PLC (LSE:ADN), announces the appointment of Vincent Esposito as Head of US Mutual Funds.
The newly created role, reporting to Gary Bartlett, Chief Executive of AAMI, aims to consolidate the various aspects of AAMI's mutual fund business, including closed- and open-ended funds, fund administration and fund distribution. The Group has $3 billion of assets within US-listed mutual funds.
Vincent brings to AAMI nearly 25 years industry experience, most recently with DWS Scudder Investments where he was a Managing Director and President of Scudder Mutual Funds. He also served on the closed-end fund board at Scudder Funds and was Chairman of the Scudder Offshore Funds board.
