Microsoft to Keynote Digital Imaging '07 Conference
Business Wire, Sept 6, 2007
WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- InfoTrends, the leading worldwide market research and consulting firm for the digital imaging and document solutions industry, will once again host its annual U.S. Digital Imaging '07 Conference during September 19-20, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency SFO Airport in Burlingame, California.
Day one opens with InfoTrends' annual state-of-the-market address by Ed Lee, Director of Consumer Services. This big-picture session will review significant trends, discuss future industry directions and growth areas, and consider some market opportunities and threats.
This will set the stage for a dynamic keynote presentation by Mike Nash, corporate vice president for Windows Product Management at Microsoft Corp. Nash will present "Building a Great Digital Imaging Experience." He will share observations on how the consumer digital photography experience is changing as options for capturing, sharing, storing, and printing images continue to expand and improve.
"We are excited to see the ecosystem extending the innovations that enhance the digital imaging capabilities in Windows Vista," said Mike Nash. "These are important advancements to enabling a new generation of digital imaging experiences."
The program continues with informative and thought-provoking presentations and panel debates from highly-respected industry leaders like Adobe, Digilabs, EZ Prints, FujiFilm, Kodak, Shutterfly, and many more.
This highly focused and interactive 2-day conference program will consider the industry's continued migration from products to solutions, and will contemplate what it might take for a company to become a "hub of imaging" for the consumer. The impact of new and creative forms of imaging output will also be discussed, and new approaches to online storytelling and personal expression will be examined.
"We'll take a look at how the make-up of our customer base is changing, and what that means for product developers and marketers," commented Ed Lee, Director of Consumer Services at InfoTrends. "Whether we're talking about next-generation 'screenagers' and their disposable memories or soccer moms and their keepsake moments, we'll explore ways that new cameras and new photo products and services can encourage greater utilization of photos."
