Samsung Charging Stations Will Allow CTIA Attendees to Power Up Their Cell Phones, Laptops and Other Electronic Devices for Free
LAS VEGAS -- Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung) will provide show attendees the opportunity to power up their personal devices at no cost, at 10, 8-1/2-foot-tall, mobile charging stations located throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center at CTIA Wireless 2008.
Samsung's mobile charging stations feature four outlets per station, allowing multiple users to re-charge their electronic devices. Each station can re-charge personal electronics designed for U.S. voltage (i.e., 120 volts) and are designed with a small shelf to hold electronic equipment.
The mobile charging station locations include six stations in the Central Exhibit Hall Lobby, along with one station located in the Main Registration Lobby. Three other stations will be located in the North Hall Lobby. Attendees can also power up their personal devices at the Samsung booth (#1023) located in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Samsung's charging stations can also be found at some of the nation's largest airports, including 54 stations at John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK), 51 stations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), as well as eight Mobile Travel Centers at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to aid travelers.
In 2008, Samsung has plans to install mobile charging stations in additional airports across the globe.
