Hoffman/Lewis Adds Strategic Muscle to Executive Team as Susan Bandura Joins as Director of Strategic Planning

SAN FRANCISCO -- Hoffman|Lewis, the independent ad agency based in San Francisco, adds strategic muscle to its executive team by naming Susan Bandura to the new position of Director of Strategic Planning.
She will provide brand strategy, market research and customer insights on campaigns for new and existing accounts including Toyota, Bank of the West, McDonald's, VSP and Beverages & More.
"Susan is an unconventional thinker and brings a new level of strategic thinking to our work," says Sharon Krinsky, President of Hoffman|Lewis. "We look forward to offering her expertise, insights and strategic vision to our clients."
Bandura first started analyzing market research and writing ad strategies in 1989, after earning an MBA from Stanford. She was one of the first account planners in the U.S., cutting her teeth on accounts such as Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft and Levi's. Since then, she has worked for large clients, from AT&T and Banana Republic, to Netflix (in its early days),and to internet start-ups such as Metacafe and TurnHere. Besides working directly with clients, Bandura has consulted in market research and account planning with ad agencies like Deutsch, Young & Rubicam, JWT, McCann-Erickson and Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
"I'm looking forward to taking the strategic lead at the agency," Bandura says. "I like the management, I like the clients, it's the right place for me." She will report to Krinsky and will be a member of the agency's executive committee.
