Wireless Telecom Group Announces Expansion of Boonton Power Meter Family

Business Wire, April 10, 2008

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Wireless Telecom Group, Inc., today announced a new series of Boonton Peak Power Meters, designed for high-volume industrial and military applications typical of the mainstream peak power meter market. The new 4540 series is being introduced as a mid-range product, falling in between the Company's market leading, high-performance, Boonton 4500B and the its entry level products.

Monty Johnson, CEO of Wireless Telecom Group, Inc., stated, "We are very excited about the prospects for our new series of power meters, from which customers can expect the same reliability, accuracy, and ruggedness they have come to expect from our other Boonton meters. Consistent with our strategy to aggressively develop innovative, leading-edge instruments, we believe our 4540 series is the perfect fit for high-volume, high-performance applications. By incorporating technology from the 4500B, we have designed this smaller, lower priced series to address a wide range of demanding applications. We are now able to address all peak power meter segments and expect quick market acceptance of the 4540, with initial orders later this quarter."

Johnson added, "We are investing in the Boonton product portfolio and have previously announced other new Boonton products including our latest USB power sensors and our portable Passive Intermodulation (PIM) Tester. All of these products and related services are being marketed by our expanded global sales force, part of a strategic initiative to increase international sales. We are pleased with the early results of this initiative, as sales of our Boonton-branded products are growing strongly."

The Company will display the Boonton 4540 series of Peak Power Meters at upcoming trade events including the IEEE 2008 International Microwave Symposium, in Atlanta, Georgia.
