Gary Dell'Abate and Ronnie the Limo Driver from The Howard Stern Show, other local celebrities to launch Philly's Newest Gentlemen's Club, Steakhouse and Sports Bar
HOUSTON -- Rick's Cabaret International, Inc., (NASDAQ/GM: RICK), the nation's premier operator of upscale gentlemen's clubs, will open the newest Rick's Cabaret adult nightclub in Philadelphia with a three-day party April 24-26th that will feature search lights, $3 drinks and visits from Gary "Ba Ba Booey" Dell'Abate and others from The Howard Stern Show.
The 25,000 square foot club at 2908 South Columbus Blvd., formerly known as Crazy Horse Too Cabaret, has been remodeled and, in addition to topless entertainment, it now features a steakhouse and sports bar -- an appropriate addition to a venue that is just south of the sports complex where the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, 76ers and Flyers play their home games and across the street from the planned new Foxwoods Casino.
On Thursday April 24th "Ronnie the Limo Driver," recently dubbed "Rickyman" by Stern, will appear at Rick's Cabaret Philadelphia and the opening will be filmed by "Howard TV". The show's producer Gary Dell'Abate, known on the air as "Ba Ba Booey" is scheduled to appear on Friday April 25th. Ronnie and the Howard Stern cast have raved on the show about their visits to the Rick's Cabaret flagship location in New York City. Their appearances in Philadelphia will be on Sirius Satellite Radio as well as the popular pay per view "Howard TV" channel.
As part of the opening day festivities investment industry professionals and investors in the company's stock, which trades on the NASDAQ General Market under the symbol RICK, are invited to attend a special "Due Diligence Party" at the club from 6 pm - 8 pm on Thursday April 24th. The will have an opportunity to meet President and CEO Eric Langan and learn more about the parent company. (For further details email ir@ricks.com.)
The club has been undergoing renovations for the past month. The newly installed Rick's Cabaret sports bar features large-screen sets throughout that will show major local and national contests. The steakhouse offers the highly praised Rick's Cabaret menu and is open until the wee hours daily. In the nightclub, furnished with luxurious seating and granite bar tops, more than 100 entertainers will dance on a central stage or entertain patrons in VIP suites offering privacy and personalized cocktail service.
"We're going all out to introduce ourselves to Philadelphia with this three-day party and I think everyone will have a ball," said Ed Anakar, general manager of Rick's Cabaret who oversees nightclub operations.
