CoreXchange Appoints IT and Networking Senior Vice President

DALLAS -- CoreXchange(SM )today announced that Chris Turbeville, an ISP and networking industry veteran, has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Information Technology & Networking. Chris will be responsible for furthering development of the industry's first network access exchange, which offers enterprises managed access to a mesh of leading Tier-1 Internet backbones.

Most recently, Chris served as vice president of network engineering for The Planet, overseeing the implementation of a 100 gigabit network infrastructure. He previously managed Verio's national IT network and security infrastructure. Chris served in critical IT and network engineering leadership roles since Verio's inception, having joined the company after its foundational acquisition of OnRamp Technologies in 1995. At OnRamp, Chris played a major role in growing OnRamp from a start-up in the early days of commercial ISPs to a nationally-recognized networking industry leader. He obtained an undergraduate in mathematics and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Arlington.
