SYS Technologies Announces Further Network Management Solutions Deployments
Business Wire, April 16, 2008
--Demonstrating Continued Adoption of Initial dopplerVUE Product Launch--
SAN DIEGO -- SYS Technologies, Inc. ("SYS") (AMEX: SYS), a leading provider of information connectivity solutions that enable situational awareness and real-time collaboration, announced today that its new network management software product, dopplerVUE, continues to show strong initial adoption by a broad range of customers, including a state Army National Guard unit, the U.S. State Department and a commercial managed services provider.
SYS, which recently signed an agreement to be acquired by Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS), recently launched dopplerVUE which is SYS' next-generation network management tool that integrates fault and performance monitoring with discovery and automated mapping into a single unified dashboard across networked devices, applications and services.
"We have been very pleased with the interest demonstrated by some of these early adopters of dopplerVUE. These deployments support our strategy of developing cutting edge network management software that can address all kinds and sizes of networks," said Cliff Cooke, CEO of SYS Technologies. "As reliance upon net-centered applications and communications grows, the need to assure the reliability of the underlying infrastructure is mission-critical, whether the mission is defense, disaster relief, education or commerce. We are especially gratified to see that such a wide variety of organizations have recognized the value of dopplerVUE, especially during this initial launch phase. We are now well positioned to pursue a much broader set of customers with a more diversified network management software portfolio through the combination of dopplerVUE targeting smaller network footprints and NeuralStar continuing to target larger enterprise networks."
With superior visibility and advanced monitoring features, dopplerVUE brings the power of advanced management to smaller and mid-sized organizations. The Army National Guard unit, for example, will implement dopplerVUE to manage 115 armories, providing them with a comprehensive view of their statewide network in one interface, a factor critical for tactical and mobility purposes. Also important for the National Guard is dopplerVUE's ease of use, which allows for efficient adoption by rotating personnel to keep critical applications running at all times as well as dopplerVUE's advanced support for new IPv6 elements.
