Next New Networks Names Advertising Veteran, Bill Cella, to Advisory Board

Business Wire,  April 16, 2008

Next New Networks Becomes First Client of The Cella Group

NEW YORK -- Next New Networks, the leading new media company that creates and programs online television networks for targeted communities, today announced that Bill Cella, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Cella Group, will be joining their advisory board. In this role, Cella will work with the Next New Networks ad sales department to plot strategy and identify and connect with clients on appropriate Next New Networks offerings. Additionally, Next New Networks is the first client of The Cella Group, a newly formed media sales representation company.

Cella is a highly respected veteran of the advertising industry and has formed The Cella Group with a mission to strategically align selected media companies to advertisers and agencies and consult on building appropriate infrastructure to meet client needs. For six years prior he was the chairman and CEO of MAGNA Global Worldwide, a unique media negotiation, research and programming unit of the Interpublic Group representing over $25 billion of aggregated media spending. Before joining MAGNA Global Worldwide, Cella was executive vice president, director of broadcast and programming for Universal McCann North America, where he began working in 1994. At the beginning of his career in media, Cella worked at ABC, most notably as their vice president of sports sales.

"Next New Networks is skillful at producing, distributing and identifying talent and original content that makes a special connection with online audiences, which is what advertisers are looking for," said Cella, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Cella Group. "I am impressed with their syndication model and their relationships with significant distribution partners. They're averaging over 25 million video views a month across multiple delivery platforms and attracting meaningful audiences and targeted demos."

As Next New Networks continues to grow their ad sales team with their recent Series B funding, Cella will advise the company on how to build the necessary infrastructure to service current and future clients.

"Bill Cella's extensive advertising experience and deep negotiating background is going to be integral to the future of the Next New Networks advertising strategy," said Herb Scannell, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Next New Networks. "We are excited to be able to have Bill as a valuable resource."
