LAS VEGAS -- Dynamax Technologies Ltd., a global leader in digital signage solutions, today announced the on-time delivery and general availability of POV(NG3), the updated edition of its market-leading digital signage software platform. The company shipped stand-alone and enterprise server versions of POV(NG3), previously branded as Point of View, to Dynamax customers and partners as scheduled on April 1, 2008, the previously-published release date.
In addition, Dynamax also disclosed it has received extremely favorable feedback from customers and resellers for the product's superior flexibility, extensive upgraded features, and numerous functionality enhancements. With greater ease of use, performance and scalability, POV(NG3) represents the company's most significant research and development effort to date, and the most ambitious upgrade to the application in its 10-year history. For these reasons, Dynamax stakeholders are trumpeting the debut of POV(NG3) as a major advancement forward in the creation of innovative digital signage solutions.
Dynamax will showcase and demonstrate POV(NG3) at KioskCom Self Service Expo/The Digital Signage Show, April 16-17, 2008, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev. At this year's event, company representatives will be co-located with business partner St. Clair Interactive Communications, Inc. in booth #318. KioskCom Self Service Expo is the largest international trade show and conference exclusively dedicated to the benefits and applications of self-service technology and interactive digital media, including kiosks, digital signage, self-checkout, and other related technologies.
"The on-time delivery of POV(NG3) is a testament to the many months of hard work put in by the company's talented development team, and the dedication and loyalty of the numerous Dynamax customers and channel partners that provided pointed, invaluable input so the application effectively meets their exacting needs and specifications," said Howard D. Smith, co-founder, director, and chief technology officer (CTO) of Dynamax Technologies Ltd. "Furthermore, the general availability of POV(NG3) serves as additional evidence of the company's ongoing expertise and leadership in the digital signage software segment, and its growing reputation as one of the most innovative digital out-of-home media solutions providers in the world today."
Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCO), the world's largest outdoor advertising company, and a long-time Dynamax customer, has already agreed to utilize POV(NG3) to manage advertising content preparation and delivery for its digital signage networks throughout nine European nations. In addition, Dynamax will provide Clear Channel with industry-leading installation and technical support services; collaborate with the company to install new, customized digital displays in multiple out-of-home settings throughout the aforementioned territories; and upgrade older analog screen networks to digital technologies in select markets.
"Clear Channel will deploy POV(NG3) across multiple digital out-of-home media networks in important European geographies because its enhanced features and functionality are absolutely ideal for efficiently managing these highly-complex and technology-intensive systems," said Ian McKenzie, chief executive officer of Dynamax Technologies Ltd. "For this deployment, as well as other out-of-home advertising networks around the world, the solution's proven scalability, return on investment, network uptime, and systems administration productivity, make it the digital signage software solution of choice, now and for years to come."
