Business Wire, April 17, 2008
First New Look in a Decade Creates Opportunities; Special Unveiling on April 17
SEATTLE -- The most significant redesign in the Puget Sound Business Journal's history will be unveiled at an exclusive, invitation-only launch party for key business and community leaders this evening, hosted by Business Journal Publisher Emory Thomas Jr. The inaugural redesigned issue, which hits the streets the following day on April 18, will have nearly double the regular distribution through street teams, targeted drops and a special mailing.
"After a great deal of time in research and planning, including reader feedback, focus groups, surveys, prototypes and more, we're excited to share our new look with the community," Thomas said. "We hope our current and future readers recognize that an updated look will help to better deliver trends and analysis, while remaining the top-of-the-line local, breaking business news source they've come to trust."

"The redesign gives us new features, better navigation and stronger visuals, and helps our team tell better stories," said Editor George Erb. "We'll deliver the exclusive insight and analysis our readers expect, in a more efficient and authoritative design."
