BOSTON -- MFS Investment Management([R]) (MFS([R])) announced today that updated auction preferred securities market information has been posted on its web site as it relates to the firm's closed-end funds. The information can be viewed at www.mfs.com, by clicking on "News & Commentary," then "News Room," then "Closed-End Funds Press Releases."
MFS manages $200 billion in assets on behalf of more than 5 million individual and institutional investors worldwide as of December 31, 2007. The company traces its origins to 1924 and the creation of America's first mutual fund.
The Trusts are closed-end investment products. Shares of the Trusts are only available for purchase/sale at the current market price, on the NYSE, with the exception of the MFS California Insured Municipal Fund, which is available for purchase only on the American Stock Exchange. Shares may trade at a discount to NAV.
