Brava![R] Desktop and Redact-It[TM] Desktop Integrated with Interwoven[R] WorkSite[R] Provides Ideal Solution for Small to Mid-Size Legal and Accounting Offices
SAN FRANCISCO -- Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in viewing, collaboration and redaction technology, announced today the release of its Brava![R] Desktop and Redact-It[TM] Desktop for Interwoven[R] WorkSite[R]. The integrated solution is being debuted at the Interwoven GearUp 2008 conference in San Francisco, California.
Brava Desktop provides a single, simple viewing and collaboration interface for any file format, including Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF and TIFF. Brava has a full range of annotation tools and can publish files to PDF, TIFF or IGC's secure Content Sealed Format (CSF) with embedded Visual Rights[TM] technology. Visual Rights allow users to add an additional layer of security to the file including an expiration date, password protection and feature restrictions like annotation, printing and more.
Redact-It Desktop intelligently removes sensitive content and privacy information like Social Security numbers, names and phone numbers before making documents available to a wider audience. The product ships with a number of built-in macros for quick removal of privacy content, allows users to redact zones by simply drawing a basic box around an area, and can perform redaction by a simple search string (text) or predefined text list.
"WorkSite provides firms a way to organize their content in a manner that fits the model of their staff's day-to-day business practices," said Neil Araujo, Vice President of Marketing for Professional Services at Interwoven. "Brava and Redact-It work in tandem with WorkSite in a way that keeps the integrity of this model, while enhancing the capabilities for these organizations."
"Informative Graphics and Interwoven share a belief that software should be easy to use, yet elegantly functional," said Gary Heath, President and CEO of IGC. "WorkSite is a great product that has commanded market share leadership within small to mid-size law firms and accounting offices so our desktop products, already widely used in those markets, make a perfect fit."
