RingCube Technologies Joins the SanDisk Enterprise Solutions Technology Alliance

RingCube Provides Compatibility and Interoperability of Its Managed Virtual Workspace Solutions With SanDisk Secure Portable Devices
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- RingCube Technologies, a leading provider of the managed, virtual workspace, today announced that it has joined the SanDisk([R]) Enterprise Solutions Technology Alliance (SESTA). SESTA membership gives RingCube the opportunity to ensure a high performance virtual workspace and to create a protected environment on the latest secure, centrally managed flash drives from SanDisk, a leader in personal storage devices.
"We are delighted to have RingCube Technologies as a member of SESTA," said Daniel Shefer, senior manager for business development in the Enterprise Division at SanDisk. "The confluence of faster, more secure, and higher-capacity flash storage and efficient, light-weight desktop virtualization technologies is opening the door to unprecedented levels of mobility and manageability for corporate desktops."
RingCube's award-winning MojoPac virtualization software allows a user's desktop environment, including applications, data, settings and system resources, to be decoupled from the operating system and encapsulated into a secure container. This enables it to be transported on a variety of media, including USB storage devices. The MojoPac Enterprise Suite allows IT administrators to create virtual desktop environments for their users, apply enterprise security policies, and deploy them on encrypted USB drives. Users can run their managed virtual workspace on unmanaged, non-corporate PCs - whether in the employee's home, at a client site or in a hotel business center. By plugging their MojoPac-enabled USB drive into a host PC, mobile professionals can transform any Windows PC into their own work or personal environment to access their files, applications, settings and entire desktop experience, as if they were on their own PC.
"Today's workers are demanding ever-increasing levels of mobility, putting a serious strain on enterprises' ability to manage these users and keep their data and systems secure," said Pete Foley, RingCube's CEO. "RingCube's managed virtual workspace solutions allow IT administrators to centrally manage desktop environments that can be stored on flash drives and run anywhere - online or offline. Combined with the security of the SanDisk Cruzer([R]) Enterprise flash drive, workers achieve the flexibility and mobility they need, while IT managers maintain strict levels of security and management of their corporate workspaces."
SanDisk's flagship secure device is the Cruzer Enterprise high-speed USB flash drive with mandatory password protection and 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption. Data stored on Cruzer Enterprise has virtually ironclad protection against access by unauthorized users if the drive is lost or stolen.
Complete lifecycle management for Cruzer Enterprise drives is available through SanDisk's CMC (Central Management & Control) server software. CMC provides password recovery and renewal through the network, remote termination of lost drives, central back-up and restore, and central usage tracking.
