NEC Laboratories America, Inc. To Collaborate With National Science Foundation Center for Autonomic Computing

Sharing of knowledge and technology to improve efficiency and administration costs of autonomic computing systems

PRINCETON, N.J. -- NEC Laboratories America, Inc., a subsidiary of NEC Corporation of America and a leading industrial research institution, announced today plans to collaborate with the National Science Foundation Center for Autonomic Computing (CAC). CAC promotes long-term affiliations in the field of autonomic computing research with the U.S. government, leading industry organizations and academics at university sites, including the University of Florida, the University of Arizona and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

By conducting joint research with CAC, NEC will be able to share and leverage synergies of concepts with faculty, graduate students, post-doctoral researchers and other CAC partners. NEC will also have access to the research center's equipment, facilities and infrastructure.
