"The corporate catering/delivery side of our business represents over 40% of our overall revenue and grew by 47% in '07 vs. '06. The opportunity for growth in this sales channel is exceptional. We are very excited to have Jeannette join our team. Her experience in corporate catering sales in addition to her sales management and team building skills puts us ahead of the curve to take advantage of our growth opportunities," said Jason R. Brown, Chairman and CEO. "I am thrilled to be a part of the organic movement and participate in the growth opportunity it presents us in the U.S. as has occurred in Europe," commented Davidson.
"One of the opportunities Jeannette will be able to capitalize on is our recent introduction in Seattle of Pizza Organico[TM], an 18 inch pizza made fresh in our wood-fire stone hearth ovens," Brown said. "Our delivery customers' reaction to our delicious, organic pizza has been exceptional and preparations are well underway to roll out Pizza Organico[TM] to Los Angeles and San Diego in May." The pizza is initially available in four varieties: cheese, pepperoni, veggie and BBQ chicken. "What is important about Pizza for our company is that it drives greater interest in our overall Organic To Go business as customers learn that you can really eat delicious normal American cuisine and take a pass on the pesticides," concluded Brown.
