The company's human resources segment accounted for 35.8% of the total revenues in fiscal 2007 and recorded revenues of PS126.1 million, a 10.8% increase over 2006. The growth in this segment was due to new contracts signed during the year and broadening of its offering through acquisitions.

In December 2007, the Board of Directors of NIS Acquisitions and Northgate announced that they have entered into an agreement for the recommended acquisition of Northgate at a price of 95 pence in cash for each Northgate share. This deal valued the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Northgate at approximately PS593 million.
