NYSSA Presents 3rd Annual Manager Search and Selection Conference: Evaluating and Selecting Superior Managers for Private Clients

Business Wire,  April 25, 2008

NEW YORK -- The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) will present the "3rd Annual Manager Search and Selection Conference: Evaluating and Selecting Superior Managers for Private Clients" on May 8, 2008.

Wealth management advisors are increasingly expected to function as a "manager of managers" for their clients. In order to serve their clients well, advisors need to build their skill set so they can effectively evaluate and recommend superior potential managers. Topics include: identifying skilled managers; effective performance evaluation and due diligence; and quality of operations and compliance. This year's keynote speaker is Richard Marin, former chairman and CEO of Bear Stearns Asset Management and current executive-in-residence in asset management at Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management.
