Versar, Inc. Announces Peter J. Cooper, Vice President and General Manager GEOMET Technologies, LLC

SPRINGFIELD, Va. -- VERSAR, Inc. (Amex:VSR) announced today the appointment of Peter J. Cooper, a 30 year veteran in international business management, as Vice President and General Manager of GEOMET Technologies, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary. Mr. Cooper will head the Systems Engineering and Chemical laboratory operations.

For 23 years, Mr. Cooper was President of Racal's Health and Safety Group, a successful and profitable company in the United Kingdom with sales in excess of $150 million.
