AIG American General Appoints Durr Sexton President of Annuity Profit Center

HOUSTON -- AIG American General announced today the appointment of Durr Sexton as president of AIG American General's Annuity profit center. In this role, Sexton, 50, will be responsible for setting strategy and direction for both the retail and group annuity business segments that offer deferred and immediate income annuity products.
"Throughout his 20-year career with AIG American General, Durr has demonstrated high energy, innovation and strong leadership," said David O'Leary, president and CEO, Specialty Markets Group, the department in which the Annuity profit center lies. Prior to this appointment, Sexton served as senior vice president, regional accounts management for AIG American General's Life Brokerage profit center. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Syracuse University.
