EminentWare today announced the release of its Extension Pack for Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).

EminentWare's WSUS Extension Pack lets organizations enhance their WSUS experience through advanced discovery, reporting and operational management across desktops and servers throughout the enterprise.

By utilizing EminentWare's WSUS Extension Pack, businesses large and small are now able to extend and enhance their Microsoft WSUS solution through:

-- Advanced Update Management - Automate and schedule downloads installs and un-installs; Pull updates from the WSUS server or directly from the Microsoft Update Catalog; Advanced Re-boot capabilities; Flexible computer grouping based on AD Domains, OUs, Workgroups, WSUS groups or custom groups.

-- Update Approval Delegation - Delegation and access control of the update process.

-- Advanced Enterprise Reporting - View and report on client and server configuration, Windows Update history & status, Windows Update log and installed software, services and certificates.
