Geoff Erwin Will Lead Scan-Optics' Business Development in Western States

MANCHESTER, Conn. -- Geoff Erwin has joined Scan-Optics, LLC as Manager of Business Development for the Western region of the United States.
Erwin brings more than 15 years' experience in the technology industry, including programming, project management and business development expertise. Most recently he has been vice president for sales at ViaTRON Systems, Inc., a California-based integrator and provider of Enterprise Content Management solutions. In that capacity he achieved record annual gross profits year after year, designed and implemented innovative sales training programs, and formed strategic relationships to increase sales and strengthen branding.
He is a vice president of the Los Angeles chapter of AIIM, and a member of a Gartner advisory council. He majored in computer science at Kwantlen University in British Columbia, and began his career in information technology as a software developer and project manager.
Erwin will assume some of the duties previously held by Gary Burke, freeing Burke to focus on expansion of Scan-Optics' international and assessment vertical businesses.
