New service allows Boston.com users to search and compare travel prices across the Web
BOSTON -- Boston.com today announced that Cheapflights.com will serve as its exclusive travel search provider. Cheapflights.com is a leading US travel-search engine, publishing one of the largest selections of airfare deals available online from a wide range of flight and travel providers.
Boston.com will provide its 4.2 million users easy access to the Cheapflights.com travel search engine by placing highly visible links on every page of Boston.com's popular travel section, which includes robust sections on New England travel, national and international destinations, a Boston visitors guide, and more. Many of the travel features are drawn from The Boston Globe's Travel section, winner of the 2007 Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Contest. Links to Cheapflights.com will also be included on Boston.com's home page, weather section and other targeted sections.
