Atos Origin Keeps Payroll on Track with Infor Solution
Business Wire, April 3, 2008
Infor HCM Workforce Management Chosen to Improve Payroll Accuracy and Boost Service Levels for Rail Companies
ATLANTA -- Infor today announced that Atos Origin, a leading international IT services provider, has selected Infor HCM Workforce Management, formerly named Workbrain, to enhance its outsourced payroll service. The solution will enable Atos Origin to process timesheets and check payroll accuracy for its rail customers in real-time, facilitating better quality payroll information and improved service levels.
The solution replaces the legacy payroll systems of the UK rail companies which were outdated and could no longer meet business needs. The chosen solution provides a centralized platform to streamline payroll services.
Infor HCM Workforce Management provides the tools to input timesheet data, identify mistakes and adjust payroll information in real-time. This facilitates greater payroll accuracy and results in less time spent rectifying errors in retrospect.
Having extensively researched the market, Atos Origin chose Infor HCM Workforce Management based on its ability to support the company's growth and its changing business requirements. Another key factor in selecting the solution was its ability to automate the rail industry's payroll rules.
"Having reviewed the market, Infor HCM Workforce Management was the only solution which could fully meet our requirements. The degree of functionality built-in means that it will handle our complex payroll rules and generate the reports we need when we need them", comments David Thomas, business process outsourcing director, Atos Origin.
"Infor is also able to keep our total cost of ownership low through a pricing model which enables us to extend the number of users and modules without significant up-front outlay. As our service rolls out, we plan to adopt other modules which will add increased functionality to our HR and payroll service offerings."
The first rail client is expected to go live in April 2008, with others already signed up and scheduled to be live by December 2008. Atos Origin will continue to work with Infor to identify additional areas where improvements to their HR services can be made.
