New & Improved Game Created By Promotions.com

NEW YORK -- TheStreet.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSCM), a leading financial media company, today announced the return of "Beat the Street," a fantasy stock picking game designed to appeal to novice stock enthusiasts looking to be challenged by a superior 12-week gaming experience that is both educational and entertaining. The game kicks off tomorrow, Friday, April 4.

Modifications in the format of the game have been made to attract an expanded participant pool - specifically, this third iteration is geared toward teaching Wall Street newcomers how to navigate the stock market and make strong trading picks.

"Tomorrow's launch of 'Beat the Street' Game Three marks the first network-wide initiative within TheStreet.com's newly expanded portfolio of Web sites," said Erika Faust, senior vice president of marketing for TheStreet.com, Inc. "This time around we created the game in-house, leveraging the technology offerings of Promotions.com, whose team of experts has successfully executed some of the largest and most complex games and promotions worldwide. We are excited to take full advantage of our recently acquired online promotions company in building this new version of 'Beat the Street' and conducting an extensive 12-week promotion across TheStreet.com, MainStreet.com, BankingMyWay.com and Stockpickr.com."

Participants in "Beat the Street" will use $250,000 fantasy dollars to create a stock portfolio of five stocks. Players can trade their stocks long or short for a chance to win $5,000 each week or a grand total of $60,000.

The game features award-winning editorial content from TheStreet.com to provide users with access to top-quality stock research, commentary and analysis. It also includes portfolio management pages where players can view the value of their portfolios and those of their competitors in addition to a leaderboard that displays which players are up or down at any given time.
