UFood Restaurant Group, Inc. Completes Over-Allotment on Private Offering

BOSTON -- UFood Restaurant Group, Inc. (OTCBB: UFFC), a franchisor and operator of fast-casual restaurants and nutritional product retail stores, today announced the close of its over-allotment option of the private placement financing, led by Spencer Trask Ventures, Inc., a New York-based venture capital firm. Approximately $13 million in gross proceeds were raised in connection with the private placement which includes a $2 million bridge financing that converted to securities in the private offering.
