HMS Selected by Texas Hospital to Provide Information Technology Infrastructure

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Healthcare Management Systems, Inc.([R]) (HMS) announced today that it has been selected by McCamey Hospital, a 14-bed healthcare facility in McCamey, Texas, to supply a full-suite of clinical and financial software solutions. Implementation of the HMS system has given McCamey the ability to perform a variety of cutting-edge functions, such as bedside bar coding and patient record integration. McCamey also expects to see an improvement in patient billing processing and creating user-friendly statements for its patients. The facility was previously working with only one financial application.
