(NASDAQ: JAVA) today announced the show devices for the upcoming 2008 JavaOne(SM) conference, May 6-9 at Moscone Center in San Francisco - the Pulse Smartpen from Livescribe, the Sony Ericsson K850i and the Sentilla Perk Kit. The show devices are available for purchase by anyone with a JavaOne conference badge, on a first-come, first-served basis. For each individual show device, purchases are limited to one per customer. Pulse Smartpen from Livescribe

The Pulse "smartpen" from Livescribe is a computer within a pen that captures handwriting and simultaneously records and synchronizes audio to the writing. Users can simply tap on their notes to replay what was recorded from the exact moment they were writing, so they never miss a word. The Pulse is available in two models.
