Triarc and Wendy's to Host Conference Call to Discuss the Merger

ATLANTA & DUBLIN, Ohio -- Triarc Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRY, TRY.B, "Triarc"), the franchisor of the Arby's restaurant system ("Arby's"), and Wendy's International, Inc. (NYSE: WEN, "Wendy's") announced today that they will host a conference call today, April 30, 2008 at 4:00pm Eastern Time to discuss the definitive merger agreement between Triarc and Wendy's.
The conference call can be accessed live over the phone by dialing 888-811-5441, or for international callers 913-312-0861. A replay will be available and can be accessed by dialing 888-203-1112 or 719-457-0820 for international callers; the conference ID is 6833432. The replay will be available commencing Thursday, May 1 until Wednesday, May 7, 2008.
