Rite Aid Assists with Tornado Relief Efforts in Suffolk and Colonial Heights, Virginia

Rite Aid Foundation Donates $10,000 to Aid Tornado Victims Through the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund

CAMP HILL, Pa. -- Rite Aid today announced that The Rite Aid Foundation is making a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help the victims, families and communities affected by the tornado devastation in the cities of Suffolk and Colonial Heights in southeastern Virginia.

"Our hearts go out to the victims, families and communities affected by these devastating tornadoes," said Mary Sammons, chairman, president and CEO of Rite Aid. "We are hoping that our donation can help make it just a little easier for those who have been impacted the most."

Rite Aid customers impacted by the southeastern Virginia tornadoes can continue to fill or pick up their prescriptions at any Rite Aid store in Suffolk and Colonial Heights. Any other patient with prescription needs can be helped at any Rite Aid location. Exact addresses of the open stores are below:

Any Rite Aid pharmacist can fill the prescription because of the company's satellite-linked computer system.
