Upromise Investments Names Mark Chapleau President

NEWTON, Mass. -- Upromise Investments, Inc. today announced that Mark Chapleau has been named President. Mr. Chapleau has been part of the senior management team since 2002.

Prior to being appointed President, Mr. Chapleau served as General Counsel. Mr. Chapleau has 19 years of experience counseling financial services firms, mutual fund advisers, and distributors such as Fidelity Investments, SAFECO Corporation, and CIGNA Corporation on a wide range of corporate and securities matters. Mr. Chapleau joined Upromise Investments from Fidelity where he was responsible for providing legal advice in connection with the structuring of complex financial products in the U.S. and offshore.
Mr. Chapleau replaces James Fadule, who has retired.
