Kopin Sets Date for Annual Meeting of Stockholders

TAUNTON, Mass. -- Kopin Corporation (NASDAQ: KOPN) today announced that its Board of Directors has set the date for the Company's joint 2007/2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. The meeting will take place at 9:00 a.m. ET Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the offices of Bingham McCutchen LLP, 150 Federal Street, Boston, Massachusetts.

Stockholders of record as of April 7, 2008, the record date established by the Board of Directors, will be entitled to receive notice of the meeting and vote their shares.

Kopin will file a proxy statement on Schedule 14A with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in connection with its joint 2007/2008 Annual Meeting.
