WILMINGTON, Del. -- Today eBillme, the alternative payment provider that brings online banking to eCommerce checkout, announced that Carol Ann Korpi will become the new Vice President of Sales and Ken Silver will become Vice President of Alliances. Both positions will report directly to the President and CEO, Marwan Forzley.
Carol Ann Korpi was previously Vice President of Sales for CNET Channel, responsible for North America and Asia Pacific sales and business initiatives. She led sales efforts for both DataSource and ChannelOnline which represent more than half of CNET Channel's total revenue and customer base.
Before joining CNET Channel in 2000, Carol Ann ran her own independent venture and was a Director of Business Development for two Internet start-ups. Carol Ann has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, a Master's Degree from Simmons College in Boston, and won a Fellowship in 1995.
Prior to joining eBillme, Ken Silver served as Senior Vice President of Global Enterprise Integrations with Chase Paymentech Solutions. As Senior Vice President, he was responsible for architecting the business processes and connectivity from large multi-channel merchants to Chase Paymentech Solutions platforms.
Before Chase Paymentech Solutions, Ken was Vice President of Alliances for First Data Merchant Services, where he was responsible for the merchant and partner portfolios of the ICVERIFY business unit. In the late 1990's, Ken helped then start-up PaylinX Corporation grow ten-fold in annual revenues as Director of Business Development. PaylinX was subsequently acquired by CyberSource Corporation in 2001. Ken spent the early part of his career in direct merchant sales where he was the top corporate sales person at FDMS, specializing in the Card-not-Present merchant segment.
"As an eCommerce payment provider, building relationships with merchants and partners in the industry is a key objective in continuing the growth of our company," says Marwan Forzley, President and CEO of eBillme. "Carol Ann and Ken's expertise, qualifications, and accomplishments in the industry make them the perfect fit for these positions. We are thrilled to have them join us and look forward to working with them."
