Business Wire, April 8, 2008

SAN FRANCISCO -- Critical Path, Inc. (OTC:CPTH), a leading provider of messaging software and services, today announced that Ericsson, the world's leading provider of technology and services to telecom operators, has selected Critical Path as its partner for delivering Ericsson's hosted Consumer Push Email (CPE) offering.

Powered by Memova[R] Mobile, Ericsson's CPE service leverages the capabilities of mass-market handsets to enable subscribers to easily send and receive e-mails using their mobile handsets, without the installation of a new client application. Focused on the consumer market, the service features the ability to mobilize multiple accounts and to easily manage how and when subscribers receive emails.

"We are delighted that an industry leader such as Ericsson has selected Memova Mobile to power its push email solution, and we're excited to work with Ericsson as well as their customers to roll out consumer mobile email services," said Mark Palomba, CEO, Critical Path. "We believe that the fast time-to-market enabled by Ericsson's hosted model, combined with the ease of use, personalization and other consumer-oriented features of Memova Mobile results in a highly competitive solution. Based on our work with service providers around the world, these benefits translate into increased subscriber loyalty and greater opportunities for generating revenue streams through additional services."

Ericsson recently announced the signing of Aircel as its first consumer push e-mail customer. Now part of Maxis Communications Berhad, Malaysia, Aircel is India's fifth largest GSM mobile service provider with a subscriber base of more than 9.5 million and is the fastest growing mobile operator in the country.
