Peak Performance Completes Claims Harbor Acquisition

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Peak Performance Solutions, Inc. (www.peakpsi.com) has completed the acquisition of Claims Harbor www.claimsharbor.com, which provides insurance applications and services to the property & casualty insurance industries. Claims Harbor was a business unit of Harbor Payments, acquired by American Express in 2007. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Claims Harbor is an insurance automation and disbursement solutions provider focused on deployment of electronic claims processing, compliance, reporting, and disbursement applications. The Company provides a range of technology solutions that automate and expedite the entire claim cycle from initial report, to settlement and disbursement. Claims Harbor has over 250 clients, including insurance carriers, state funds, third-party administrators, employers, managed care organizations, and a host of information technology vendor companies.
Steven Isaac, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Peak Performance Solutions, Inc., said he and his management team were "excited to bring Claims Harbor's line of business offerings to Peak's already expansive family of proven solutions. Mr. Isaac also stated that with the addition of Claims Harbor, "we are able to optimize our organic business performance, and expand our market reach. We are forecasting 2008 revenue and EBITDA of approximately $10 million and $2.5 million, respectively." He further disclosed that Peak Performance is actively seeking other significant acquisitions this year.
