The nominating committee chose Jim Kelly to receive the 2008 Gold Leadership Award due to his dedication to improving the lives of youth and families, his courageous thinking and actions, his vision and innovation, his inspiring leadership, and his community mindedness. Jim is active in a number of community service groups serving the needs of children with a special interest in Financial Literacy education. In addition to his role as a past Chair for Junior Achievement of Delaware, he also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware.
