International Rectifier to Host Conference Call on August 4, 2008 to Discuss Restatement Results

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- International Rectifier Corporation (NYSE:IRF) today announced the filing of its financial restatement for certain prior periods. The Company expects to file with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) its 2007 annual report on Form 10-K and quarterly reports on Form 10-Q for the quarters ending March 31, 2007, September 30, 2007, December 31, 2007 and March 31, 2008 after 1:30 p.m. Pacific time, today. These financial reports will be available for viewing and download after filing along with an investor presentation and a letter to shareholders at http://investor.irf.com.
The Company also plans to also host a conference call on August 4, 2008, at 5:00 a.m. Pacific time/ 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss the contents of the restatement and related filings.
