Business Wire, August 19, 2008

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Electronic Systems Technology, Inc. (EST) (OTCBB: ELST), dba ESTeem Wireless Modems, the manufacturer of the ESTeem[TM] product line of narrow band licensed, Ethernet Licensed, and Ethernet Unlicensed wireless modems, announced today their new unlicensed product. The ESTeem 195Ed is entering production after receiving Federal Communications Commission type acceptance effective August 15, 2008.

The ESTeem Model 195Ed is the latest generation wireless modem with integral Ethernet and serial (RS-232C) interfaces designed for the rigors of the Industrial, Public Safety, and Federal markets. The Model 195Ed is an Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) spread spectrum radio modem operating in the unlicensed 902-928 MHz frequency band that delivers 1 to 54 Mbps of data rate over distance greater than 11 miles in high noise environments. Having both a serial and Ethernet port allows the 195Ed to be the perfect low cost solution to your wireless data needs. Wireless networks over large geographical areas can be a reality using the internal Digi Repeater feature. The 195Ed also has a Client Mode feature so it can be used as a high powered mobile radio in applications roaming under a 195Ed canopy.

Electronic Systems Technology, a publicly held Company since 1984, was the first Company to develop the wireless modem and receive the United States and Canadian patents for this technology.
