Washington Management Group Makes Technology Donation to The Children's Inn at NIH
Business Wire, August 20, 2008
WASHINGTON -- Washington Management Group, the leading government contract consulting services firm, has made a technology donation to The Children's Inn at NIH, a private, non-profit residence for families and children with life-threatening illnesses at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in Bethesda, Maryland.
The donation of computers will enable families to enjoy use of a computer on a sign-out basis during their stay at The Inn.
"Your dedication to The Inn helps us provide 'a place like home' for more than 1,300 children and their families who stay at The Children's Inn each year," said Kathy L, Russell, The Inn's Chief Executive Officer. "The Inn assists families by offering all of its services free of charge, which is only possible because of the generous donations from the community."
The Inn provides a safe, healing haven for families from across the country and around the world who participate in groundbreaking medical therapies at NIH during the day, and need a place to relax and reconnect each evening.
Washington Management Group, along with its subsidiary FedSources - the nation's premiere provider of government market intelligence - are regular contributors to The Children's Inn and have been involved with the organization since its inception in 1990.
"We are thrilled to be providing this technology to an organization that puts such a strong emphasis on children and families," said Bill Gormley, president and CEO of Washington Management Group. "We hope our contribution can help these families in some way."
