SpringSource Announces Strategic Partnership with Leading Government IT Solutions Provider

SpringSource Teams with Carahsoft to Bring Spring and SpringSource Products and Services to Federal, State and Local Government Agencies
SAN MATEO, Calif. -- SpringSource, the company behind Spring, the de facto standard in enterprise Java, and a leading provider of infrastructure software, today announced a strategic partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corporation, the trusted government IT solutions provider.
Under the terms of the partnership, Carahsoft will resell SpringSource products and services to the public sector for the first time. SpringSource Enterprise and Application Platform software offerings, as well as commercial support offerings around Apache Tomcat and other Apache technologies, will be offered under numerous contract programs, including the Federal GSA. With the award of the GSA Schedule, Carahsoft will operate as a Master Government Partner and help bring SpringSource products to government customers utilizing Carahsoft's network of open source focused resellers and integrators.
