US Patent Office Supports TZero Technologies and Rejects Pulse-LINK Patent

Business Wire, August 20, 2008

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- TZero Technologies, the leader in Ultra Wideband (UWB) and wireless video solutions, today announced that the United States Patent Office issued an office action rejecting all claims of U.S. patent number 6,970,448 asserted in a lawsuit brought by Pulse-LINK against Tzero in June 2007. This action by the US Patent Office, and a stay issued by the district court, bring the lawsuit to an end for the foreseeable future. This follows closely behind the successful resolution of two other cases filed by Pulse-LINK against TZero Technologies in late 2007 involving US patents numbered 7,099,368 and 6,895,034.

"We are gratified that the court and patent office continue to rule in TZero's favor," said Dr. Rajeev Krishnamoorthy, TZero's president and chief executive officer. "With all three Pulse-LINK lawsuits behind us, TZero's full attention is now focused on continuing to increase market traction of products based on our award-winning Ultra Wideband technology."

TZero Technologies' Wireless HDMI solutions deliver 1080p high definition content from Blu-Ray DVD players, Set Top Boxes, Digital Video Recorders, and Gaming Systems to HD televisions.
