Ethical Corporation launches The 3rd Annual Ethical Supply Chain Summit, taking place on October 16-17 in Berlin as key leaders from around the world join for ultimate debate and discussion on ethical supply chains.
BERLIN -- Toyota, Pepsi, Deutsche Telekom, Marks & Spencer and Cadbury are just five of the large multi-national corporations converging in Berlin to discuss responsible supply chains. Representatives from Hewlett-Packard, Timberland, GlaxoSmithKline, the Ethical Trading Initiative, Sedex, L'Oreal, British American Tobacco and Syngenta are some of the other leading organisations gathering on 16-17 October to discuss the future of ethical supply chain management. The two day business conference will address a broad range of issues from across the ethical supply chain. With a two month direct research period resulting in an agenda which covers all the key social and environmental issues surrounding supply chain management. Addressed will be perennial problems like the effect climate change will have upon your supply chain and emerging environmental issues such as Water and Biodiversity.
This summit isn't just focused on green issues. It will also cover amongst other things: social issues, strategies for effective auditing, strength through collaboration, getting your suppliers and consumers engaged in your supply chain management as well as metrics and benchmarking.
