Prudential Real Estate Launches DreamBuilder® Program for Affiliates
Business Wire, August 26, 2008
- Comprehensive program geared for independent real estate contractors includes access to insurance and financial services
IRVINE, Calif. -- Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., a Prudential Financial, Inc. [NYSE: PRU] company, today launched a comprehensive initiative to make an insurance and financial services program available to its U.S. network of independently owned affiliate companies, which in turn can make the program available to their teams of independent real estate contractors.
The program, called DreamBuilder([R]), provides access to group-health insurance, individual medical insurance, dental and vision discount programs, disability-income insurance, long-term care insurance, life insurance, retirement options including owner-only 401(k) plans and simplified employee pension (SEP) plans, and even personal consultation with a licensed insurance and financial services professional.
Additional services provided by licensed financial professionals may include coverage review and strategies for education and retirement funding and estate preservation.
Prudential Real Estate President Laurie Keenan said DreamBuilder was created to help sales professionals - who are typically independent contractors responsible for their own health and other benefits - gain options that might otherwise be unavailable to them, including medical insurance at group rates. DreamBuilder will help affiliates recruit and retain top real estate professionals, Keenan added.
"Few in our industry are able to offer such access to a comprehensive array of insurance and financial products and services," Keenan said. "Our sales professionals now have access to more tools that can help them build their financial futures by protecting themselves and their families today. Our affiliates can gain even more distinction in their markets by offering an attractive program that real estate professionals can't get anywhere else."
Prudential Real Estate collaborated with its affiliated Prudential Financial companies to help make the DreamBuilder program available, Keenan pointed out. Personalized service available to participants will add to the program's value.
"With DreamBuilder, a network of licensed financial representatives will be available to work hand in hand with real estate sales professionals to assist them in assessing their needs and developing strategies to meet their insurance coverage and financial services needs," Keenan said. "This helps sales professionals to focus more of their time and energy on their clients."
Prudential Real Estate affiliates have embraced the program through pilot testing and initial introduction. The program will be rolled out in phases over the next year.
"We are pleased to make DreamBuilder available as a service to our hard-working sales professionals and their families," said Linda Sherrer, CEO and founder of Prudential Network Realty, Jacksonville, Fla. "DreamBuilder is a true, competitive advantage for my company, and another reason why real estate professionals should make their living and pursue their dreams with Prudential Real Estate."
